Crypto Market Gives Up $17 Billion In 24 Hours - Friday's Crypto Report
Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market had quickly rebounded on Thursday after the news of the Bithumb hack and news of the report that Tether had enough assets to back its tokens, but the quick rally was short lived as the bears took control and drove the price of Bitcoin (BTC) down 5.79%. bringing down with it most of the major coins and wiping out $17 billion dollars from the markets overnight. The volume is relatively low, though, so we might have reached a bottom as the sellers may have become exhausted. Tron (TRX) overtook Miota (IOTA) in terms of market cap size and is now the 9th largest coin. Bitcoin is currently trading at $6,353.56 on Coinbase.
