Bitcoin Bounces Back After Exchange Hack - Today's Crypto Report
Bitcoin quickly rebounded after the news of the Bithumb hack. The exchange had moved quickly and stated, however, that it will compensate all users affected by the hack, and that all of its assets are being moved to a cold wallet. Also, a report released on Wednesday, by Washington law firm Freeh, Sporkin & Sullivan LLP, stated that the cryptocurrency firm Tether has enough U.S. dollar reserves to back its digital coins. Many investors had concerns that the firm may not have actually had enough reserves to back up the amount of coins it has. All of the top 10 coins by market cap were up. Bitcoin is up 1.53% and is currently trading at $6,763.71 on Coinbase.
