Ripple Sees Its XRP Coin Get the Most Votes for Best Cryptocurrency Under $1 USD to Buy
According to a recent poll made by Weiss Ratings, XRP has been voted as the best virtual currency to buy under $1 dollar. The other possibilities provided by the independent rating agency were Stellar (XLM), Cardano (ADA) and IOTA (MIOTA). The poll has been conducted on October 11 and registered 5,726 votes which are almost 50% of Weiss Rating’s followers. XRP is one of the most valuable virtual currencies in the market right after Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). It has a market capitalization of $16.72 dollars and each coin can be bought for $0.41 dollars.At the same time, XRP has been facing different difficulties during the last months. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has been closely following XRP and Ripple in order to understand whether it is considered a security or not.Moreover, since the beginning of the year, XRP lost more than 90% of its value. However, now is being traded 88% down from its all-time high of $3.66 per coin, according to CoinMarketCap.As per the poll conducted by Weiss Ratings, the second most voted coin was Cardano, with 25% of the votes. Stellar received 8% of the votes and IOTA just 3%.
