The bears had a stranglehold on the markets early in the day again with the markets plummeting overnight on Thursday and early Friday. Then the markets quickly bounced back and most coins are currently in the green after seeing red for a couple of days.
Bitcoin's market dominance is sitting at 48.1% with many alt coins seeing their lowest levels in a year.

Bitcoin (BTC) and most other top cryptocurrencies are trading higher over the past 24 hours.
The cryptocurrency markets are up 2.24% over the past 24 hours with the total market cap sitting around $267 billion. Bitcoin is currently up 1.42% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7,492.80 on Coinbase. If BTC finds stability where it sits now, an expected recovery to around $8,400 is possible in the short term. Miota (IOTA) overtook Tether (USDT) (the stable coin) as the 9th largest coin by market cap size.
