Here's what's going on in the crypto markets today:
Bitcoin (BTC) and most other cryptocurrencies are trading sharply lower over the past 24 hours, with bitcoin looking at it's worst daily decline in three weeks.
The cryptocurrency markets are down 5.82% over the past 24 hours with the total market cap sitting around $275 billion. Bitcoin dominance has continued to rise to 48% which has been dragging down the price of many alt coins. Bitcoin is currently down 5.70% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $7,688.82 on Coinbase. BTC broke out of a short term trading channel between $7,800-$8,300 and will possibly test the next lower support levels at $7,600, $7,400, and $7,200. If BTC finds stability where it sits now, an expected recovery to around $8,400 is possible in the short term.
