Bitcoin Jumps Bringing The Rest Of The Cryptocurrency Market Up With It - Today's Crypto Report

After losing about 9% last week Bitcoin saw a large jump early Monday morning. The jump follows a bunch of bullish news from last week which saw BlackRock Inc. forming a team to look into ways the world’s largest asset manager can take advantage of blockchain and the cryptocurrency market, Billionaire investor Steven Cohen was said to have put money into a hedge fund focusing on cryptocurrencies, and optimism of a reversal on India's total ban on cryptocurrencies and that they might be treated as commodities. Bitcoin broke past $6,400 resistance level and is up 2.97% over the past 24 hours. It is currently trading at $6,533.92 on Coinbase. The cryptocurrency markets are up 2.66% over the past 24 hours with the total market cap sitting around $263 billion.
