Sunday Bloody Sunday - Crypto Markets Plunge Over The Weekend After Another Major Exchanged Is Hacke
A tweet from Coinrail, a large South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, confirming a hack where about 40 billion won (£27.8m) worth of virtual coins were stolen, sent the cryptocurrency markets tumbling over the weekend with Bitcoin (BTC) losing over 10% in less than an hour dragging most other cryptocurrencies down with it causing most to record very large losses. It's down 6.4% over the past 24 hours and is currently trading at $6,793.68 on Coinbase. Many experts are conflicted as to whether Bitcoin will now drop to the $6,000 support level or whether it will quickly rally and bounce back to $7,600 or higher.
